What a patient must be particular about
a) Hypertensive patients must ensure that they take the full course of Generic Norvasc to gain the full benefits of the medicine. Typically, blood pressure medication takes many weeks and even if the patient feels better after a few days of taking this drug, he must make it a point to continue it. It is essential to remember that Generic Norvasc cannot cure blood pressure; it can merely bring about the alleviation of high blood pressure and keep it under check.
b) The medicine can be taken either on an empty stomach or after food and is only required to be taken once a day. It can be used in isolation or along with similar drugs that are prescribed for angina.
c) It is recommended to take any missed dose immediately, but make sure that you do not combine any two doses.
d) The drug needs to be stored at room temperature and away from direct light in an airtight container.
e) Inform your doctor about any allergic tendencies to medicines.
f) Inform your doctor about any kidney or liver disorders so that he can advise you accordingly. If you have to discontinue taking Generic Norvasc, the process has to be gradual and you must not immediately stop the dosage.

Dosage
